Artwork Sales Will Benefit Our Programs
Support the Institute with Your Purchase of Art

Thanks to a generous offer by artist Peter Bruun, you can become an owner of his beautiful work and support the Institute’s programs at the same time. Now through January 7, 2018, make a purchase at Bruun Studios’ online store, and the Institute for Integrative Health will receive 50 percent of the proceeds when you select us as the beneficiary.

Bruun is an artist, educator, curator, and activist in the arts community. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark and raised in New York City, Bruun moved to Baltimore to attend graduate school at the Maryland Institute College of Art’s (MICA) Mount Royal School of Art. Over the past two decades, he has used art to galvanize communities and cultural institutions throughout the Baltimore region.

In 2014, Bruun founded the New Day Campaign following the death of his daughter, Elisif, from heroin addiction. The campaign creates and curates art-based public events and art exhibits to challenge stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness and substance use. The Institute for Integrative Health hosted several of the 16 exhibits and 63 free public events organized by the campaign during its inaugural series in 2015.
