This event featured the Sticks & Stones exhibition, a joint initiative of the Institute for Integrative Health, Vet Arts Connect, and New Day Campaign. This exhibit works to lift the stigma of trauma related to substance abuse and mental health. To coincide with the Institute's Micro-Credential announcement, this unique exhibit also featured the works of four veteran artists who found healing through artistic expression.
Chef Liv Wu joined the Institute to host a four-day hands-on instructive class on the flavor and food fundamentals. A college-level food literacy course designed by Chef Wu for the Google Food Test Kitchen, this course served as a "train-the-trainer" workshop favored by health professionals and academics.

The Institute for Integrative Health & the Gordon Parks Foundation announced a unique exhibition and program series featuring photographs by Devin Allen, a social justice photographer, Gordon Parks Foundation Fellow, and Baltimore-native. This 2018 program series featured five events including an opening celebration, two panel discussions, an exploration of art and healing, a trap yoga class, and a discussion to break down barriers in healing.
